ONE secondhand shopper was left flabbergasted at her frugal wedding dress find.
The label and price tag revealed just what a prize she had snagged at the thrift store.

DESIGNER DEAL
Her steal just so happened to be designed by one of the most famous names in the wedding dress industry.
“Would you buy a Vera Wang wedding dress for $20 at the thrift store that retails for $1500?” asked Reddit user thegoodwillhunt.
She might have already been married, but seeing as the buy was priced at just a fraction of the retail cost, it seemed that the answer was an obvious “yes” to the dress.
The only thing as good as the price was the flattering fit.
I DO TAKE THAT DRESS
She showed off a selfie in the mirror of her wearing the long, white gown.
The strapless dress that seemed to be a mermaid style featured embroidered floral embellishments.
The gown was also designed with ruching along the bodice as well as tulle at the bottom.
“This fits you so well, congratulations on a lovely find!” said one commenter on the Reddit thread.
“Thank you! I was so surprised that it fit like a glove although there was a moment I thought I was stuck in it and would have to ask someone to unzip me,” she replied.
Still, the “wow” look seemed to be worth the inconvenience.
IN STYLE MATRIMONY
Many others were also awestruck by the curve-fitting gown.
“I’d divorce my husband just to remarry in that dress!” said one Reddit user.
The shopper already had some ideas of her own.
“Now I’m thinking of going back to get it to do a vow renewal for our next anniversary,” she said.
“Girl, that dress for the price of a fancy cocktail warrants a vow renewal party!” agreed one.
“Then wear it around the house, see how long it takes your husband to realize that you want to renew your vows so you can show off the dress,” another said.
Others even had some theories on how she scored such a designer deal – and how she could pay it back.
“The previous owner probably divorced her husband and rage donated that dress,” said one reader.

“Hopefully after your day passes you decide to bring it back to make someone else’s day as memorable as yours was/is. Great find, keep the goodwill karma going,” said another user.
THE PRICE WAS RIGHT
The resell website Nearly Newlywed is offering a used Vera Wang mermaid-style chantilly gown for $5,500.
The style retails for $7,500.
According to Kleinfeld Bridal, a mermaid design refers to a dress that features “balanced proportions” and a “defined waistline.”
This style is usually also defined by elongating necklines and some flare.
