Redditor Pixeldustnz posted pictures of the glamorous wardrobe wonder to the social media platform.

“A $1500 couture latex jacket for $16? Thank you, Salvation Army,” they wrote.

Attached was a picture of a jacket from Atsuko Kudo, a London-based couturier.

The piece was cut meticulously — with a sharp, peplum silhouette and thick latex.

CONCERNED, BUT MAKE IT COUTURE

Several Redditors chimed in on the piece to express their thoughts on what could possibly go wrong.

“How do you clean something like this?” one asked.

“I see fingerprints, grease, [and] who knows what. Can you hand wash in Dawn or woolite or what? Can one use a microfiber? Magic eraser?”

“Dish soap, then with special latex polish to make it shiny. I haven’t cleaned it yet, but will do,” the original poster replied.

“According to a friend who has been known to wear latex, ‘baby powder to get it on, oil to get it off.’

“So it’s bound to be a messy old business, that’s all I can tell you.”

“This is so cool but I’m already imagining getting sweaty and stuck trying to get it off,” another added.

“My thoughts exactly,” a third said.

“I already have problems feeling way too warm in fabrics that actually breathe. That jacket would kill me.”

“My friend and I did a latex photo shoot with her photographer friends once, and I wore a sleeveless short dress [and] no undergarments,” yet another said.

“There was sweat literally dropping from my groin onto the paper we were standing on.”

Others wondered about where to even don the quirky piece.

“Where do you wear pieces like this?” one asked. “Does it keep you warm on a cold winter night?”

“No it doesn’t, talking from experience. The cold will just go right through,” another chimed in.

“And if it’s really warm you’ll sweat like crazy.

“You just need to wear it at an event or party where the temperature is constant.”
